The 1911 is here — free shipping over $75

Forty-sixth into the Union, and not particularly quiet about it.

Oklahoma became a state on November 16, 1907 — the forty-sixth, stitched together out of two territories that had spent decades being treated as a place to put people rather than a place people were from. What came after was fast and strange: oil booms, the Land Runs, all-Black towns, the Dust Bowl, outlaws in the Cookson Hills, a Panhandle that belonged to no state at all and was known for thirty years as No Man's Land.

Most of that doesn't make it into the shorthand. We started 46th Star to put the specific parts back — the dates, the places, the decisions — on goods people actually wear.

Each release starts with a single subject and a pile of reading. We get the facts straight, design the mark, and print it once. What ships with it is the story, told plainly and sourced. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
